Goodbye

Apparently someone is jealous of my awesome blog and doesn't want anyone else to enjoy it either.  Someone decided to clickbomb my adsense ads in hopes that I would get banned from adsense.  I doubt this person's insecurity about their penis size and lack of ability to make a few bux online will be satiated by this blog closing so everyone should keep an eye on their clicks just in case.

Metaphysics: Star Trek style

Today we have a clip from Star Trek:  The Next Generation where captain Picard is defending Data's rights as a sentient being.  Watch this well written speech on what constitutes a sentient being and ask yourself, "Do I really have what it takes to be considered a sentient being and why?"

Juggling Drummer

Here's a quicky for the day.  Though I'm sure there are probably better examples out there, this video displays some awesome drumming and juggling skills.  Anyone have any better examples?  Have a good day and thanks for watching!

Best police chase ever!

Today lets watch an amazing police chase.  You can't beat a police chase that spawns an exploding fireball tire that rolls along beside you.  In all fairness to the guy driving, it seems like he didn't intent to hurt anyone. He started panicking (and therefore accidently hurting people) after the police started to shoot-to-kill.  He's a dumbass either way, but don't you think it would have been nice if the police had warned him that they were about to try to kill an unarmed man doing circles around town in a lumber truck?  Yes, I know he had a big truck as a weapon, but still.  What do you think?

Awesome coke can science trick

Today's video is a science experiment involving melted galium and an aluminum can.  Looks like galium would be very fun to play with.  Have a great weekend!

Don't talk to the police!

Today's video is a long one, but the topic is very important.  If you want a tl;dr it would be "don't talk to the police for any reason what so ever no matter what so help you flying spaghetti monster."  This video is split between two speakers:  A law professor who details why you should not talk to the police, and a former police interrogator who confirms everything the law professor says right down to "we are allowed to lie to you."  Fascinating lecture, great examples, hammers the point home very well.  Tell me what you think.

Now that's skill

Today's awesome video is of a guy who's full of acrobatic skill.  This guy can't just juggle, he can't just fling the diablo like a boss, he can't just do flips and run up walls and do tricks with dice and and and....  Well, just watch and tell me what you think.  Is he a ninja?  Ever seen anyone with more skill than this?

Amazing Tsunami/Earthquake survivor

Today's amazing video is of a miraculous survivor of the recent earthquakes and tsunami in japan.  Investigating the rubble of a house washed out to sea, rescuers find the family pet.  It had been at least 3 weeks since the house was flattened by flood waters and floated out to sea.  Rescuers are hoping the dog can help them locate its owners.

Machine Civilization

Today we have a music video for the song Machine Civilization by Genki Sudo.  The awesome part that caught my eye is the synchronized robotic choreography.  Very mechanical and very mesmerizing to watch.  Tell me what you think in the comments and have an amazing day!

Medical Trick Shots

Here we have a general practitioner doing tricks with various medical equipment.  All the tricks are fairly impressive, especially the last one.  Fake?  I'm leaning towards no since I can't see how they would have been faked.  I'm gullible though.  Let me know in the comments if you think the tricks were faked and how you think they were done.

Forest xylophone

Here's an amazing video of a group of people who built a long wood xylophone in the middle of a Japanese forest.  It must have taken a lot of planning and management to get all of the notes in the right places.

Jackie Chan knows how to handle the egg (video link fixed)

In this video Jackie Chan somehow breaks multiple stone blocks while holding an egg in the same hand he uses to break those blocks.  And he doesn't break the egg!!  How the heck does he do that?

Japan's earthquake early warning system

I'm sure everyone and their brother already knows about the earthquake and tsunamis that occurred in Japan recently.  This video demonstrates the early warnings and continued coverage they received before and during the earthquakes.  It's amazing how they even had a single minute of time to prepare.  I don't believe we get any advanced warning in the US before an earthquake.

Iiro Rantala New Trio - Shit Catapult

Here's some new music I found this morning while browsing youtube.  Beatboxing, piano, and awesome guitar playing make for an awesome 6 minutes.  Give it a view and tell me what you think.

Intro Stuff

Hay everybody!  Just a small intro statement for the blog here.  The purpose of this blog is to spotlight any video I happen to find that is interesting to me in any way other than funny.  There are plenty of funny video and picture blogs around, but not enough that focus on videos that are just awesome for one reason or another.  Stick around and enjoy the videos and thanks for watching!
